The Role
We require an experienced Administration Officer to work at our Plains Retirement Village at Eight Mile Plains.
The duties of the role include:
- Overseeing the marketing and sale of retirement units/ apartments.
- Ensuring units are appropriately presented for sale, including overseeing refurbishment of units/ apartments.
- Liaising with aged care and independent living residents and their families.
- Customer service, including reception duties as required.
- General administrative assistance and oversight.
The Person
The successful applicant will:
- Be able to lead by example in working within Bethany Christian Care’s mission, vision, philosophy and V.A.L.U.E.S.
- Have extensive experience in customer service and sales environments, preferably within the retirement living/ aged care industry.
- Be able to present a ‘public face’ for a Christian organisation.
- Be able to undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks.
- Have demonstrated high levels of flexibility, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Have sound communication (both verbal and written) skills.
- Be able to engage with the elderly.
- Have a kind and caring nature.
This position would ideally suit a practising Christian – someone who can not only contribute to the Facility's atmosphere of love and care, but be passionate about the outworking of our Christian philosophy.
