Bethany Christian Care is a Christian organisation that provides loving care—person-centred, non-discriminatory and excellent—that covers the full spectrum of accommodation and care needs for older people.
When we serve you, it’s about person-to-person care, where you feel genuinely known and understood.
We are a not-for-profit public benevolent institution and registered charity. We operate under the Letters Patent pursuant to the Religious, Educational and Charitable Institutions Act 1861–1967.
Our board and corporation members are drawn from Christian Brethren Assemblies around south-east Queensland.
To serve and honour the Lord Jesus Christ by serving older people and partnering with local churches.
To enable older people to experience abundant lives through authentic Christian care, support and communities.
Decency and honesty
We do what is good and right. Our residents and their families are at the centre of all of our decisions and behaviours.
Forgiveness and impartiality
We treasure all people. We welcome, respect and embrace all people, no matter their story, denomination or faith.
Compassion and gentleness
We treat others like family. Inspired by Christ’s unconditional love, we care for others like they are our own loved ones.
Empathy and sensitivity
We listen before we speak. We value and respect people for who they are, and validate and encourage at every opportunity.
Quality and diligence
We bring our best. In everything we do, we do it to the highest possible standard.
Humility and kindness
We have humble hearts. We put others’ cares and needs above our own.
