Eight Mile Plains
Your family and friends are always welcome to visit and enjoy The Plains.
The Plains is located in the heart of Brisbane's south at Eight Mile Plains: just a three-minute drive local shops, less than ten minutes to Westfield Garden City and close to a number of motorway links with a council bus stop at our door.
There are 120 beds, and all of our rooms have ensuites for your privacy. Most of our rooms are for singles, but we have some double rooms for couples.
Aged care at The Plains includes four two-storey wings, each floor comprising a ‘house’.
Each house has a shared dining room, lounge and kitchen you and your family can use to make a cuppa.
Houses on the upper level have balconies where you can enjoy the fresh air and watch the world go by. Ground level houses have spacious courtyards with beautiful landscaping and plenty of shady places to relax.

We offer specialised care for people living with dementia, in a secure environment with a courtyard, designed to ensure resident safety and a range of dementia-specific leisure and wellbeing activities.
The Plains has an ensuited overnight room where loved ones can stay at no charge during times of crisis.
