With campuses at Eight Mile Plains, Manly West and Graceville, Bethany Christian Care provides accommodation and care for approximately 500 residents occupying 217 aged care beds and 227 independent living units/ serviced apartments.

Bethany Christian Care employs a diverse workforce of over 230 staff, working across nursing and care services as well as maintenance, administration and domestic support.

The Role

The position exists to support the People Manager in delivering high quality human resources (HR) and industrial relations (IR) services to relevant Bethany Christian Care stakeholders.

This HR/ IR support includes the following areas:

• Recruitment, Selection and Retention.

• Training and Development.

• Performance Management.

• Regulatory Compliance

The Person

We are looking for an HR specialist with the following skills and experience:

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong HR / IR experience and knowledge.

• Sound problem solving and time management skills.

• Commitment to own personal and professional development, e.g. remaining contemporary and pursuing best-practice.
