We are looking for a full-time Admissions Officer to work at our Retirement Village at Eight Mile Plains

The Role:

The Admissions Officer will be responsible for managing the admissions process for potential residents and their families. This role involves assessing individual needs, providing information about our services, and guiding families through the admission process with empathy and professionalism. Although based at Eight Mile Plains, there will be need to travel between our two facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments of potential residents and their families.
• Provide detailed information about the facility, services, and admission process.
• Coordinate and schedule tours of the facility for potential residents and families.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of admissions and inquiries.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and the care team to ensure a smooth transition for new residents.
• Support families throughout the admission process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

What we are looking for:

• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
• Can work under pressure.
• Can work autonomously but also as part of a wider team.
• Enjoys a challenge.
• Experience in admissions, customer service, or a similar role, ideally in aged care or healthcare settings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to dealing with families and residents.
• Friendly and positive attitude.
